Hello Neighbor! Rev. Joe Emerson became the pastor of Caldwell Brethren Church January 2024. He has served as a pastor in The Unity of the Brethren since 2000. Pastor Joe is married to Dr. Christi Emerson. Dr. Emerson serves The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as a professor in the Mayborn College of Health Sciences School of Nursing. They were married in 1990 and have served congregations throughout the great state of Texas. Pastor Joe and Christi have two daughters Rebecca and Audrey. Audrey is married to Logan Morgan and Pastor Joe is anxiously awaiting … GRANDCHILDREN!
Pastor Joe is excited to work with the people of Caldwell Brethren Church and the surrounding community as we reach out to our neighbors with God’s great love. In Matthew 22 we are given the command to, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” You’ll see and hear this theme throughout everything that Caldwell Brethren Church does. We are all called to Love God and Love Each Other!
